The Organization for Gender, Civic Engagement and Youth Development (OGCEYOD) Cameroon organized a three day workshop on a project titled the Green City Show. The workshop that took place between the 6th and the 8th of March 2013 was geared towards promulgating Environmental Cleanliness in the city of Limbe. Participants of the workshop were drawn from ten neighborhoods in Limbe with five persons representing each of the neighborhoods. The Divisional Delegate of the Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development for Fako in the South West Region of Cameroon officially opened the workshop. It is worth pointing out that resource persons of the workshop were seasoned experts of the environment drawn from other Civil Society Organizations and public structures. The participants of the workshop were schooled on ranging from Government Action in Promulgating Environmental Cleanliness in the city of Limbe, Community Waste Generation and Disposal, Health Hazards and Tree Planting plus Market Gardening.
