OGCEYOD Cameroon WASH Initiative in Northern Cameroon Africa 3mins

$1.63 Million will provide Clean and Safe Drinking Water to 100,000 people in Northern Cameroon by the end of 2019
Less than 20% of the people in Northern Cameroon have access to improved drinking water sources over 30 minutes away and the proportion of households with access to improved sanitation system is not beyond 5%. Poor access to clean water and sanitation in the region has increased the spread of diseases like cholera, diarrhea, etc.
We have constructed our first borehole out of the 20 we have plans of constructing by the end of 2017. You can be a part of this project by donating for the construction of a borehole or more. Constructing a borehole cost 8,000,000 XAF ($16,300, 12,300€ or £9500). The Killings, destruction and insecurity cause by Bokoharam in the Regions is greatly slowing development in the region. More than 300,000 refugees living in Cameroon already as a result of the BokoHaram attacks. These regions originally had water crisis but it is worst with the influx of refugees and internally displaced persons. With your support we can construct 20 boreholes and provide portable water to 40,000 this year 2017 but we have a target to construct 100 boreholes by the end of 2019. Please pass this video to other people you think might be interested to be a part of an initiative like this.
